MsP Production Vault: Mad FX Kit and voc one VSTi

Friday, December 24th, 2010

This week we have some VSTI’s and a nice sample kit. =D

The Mad FX Kit has got a bunch of dirty drum sounds as well as some strings, organs, vocal samples and different types of sound effects.

Also included in this bundle is the voc-one VSTi which is a simple choir VSTi. It’s no Symphonic Choirs VSTi (a beastly VSTi, I might add), but it can get the job done in a pinch. There are controls in it to also change the vowel sounds of the voices to give you some extra leverage, as well as reverb, breath, and different tonal controls.

Head on out to our Production Vault and get the VSTi today!

MsP Production Vault: Banging Beats Kit and TWEAKBENCH VSTi Bundle

Thursday, December 16th, 2010

This week we have some VSTI’s and a big sample kit. =D

We have a bit of a hybrid bundle this week. Going back to our drum roots, we’ve got a decently sized kit of over 1,100 samples. The Banging Beats kit has over 200 kicks, 350 snares, and over 150 hats, plus some guitar, horn, string and piano samples. It should keep you busy for a while.

Also with this kit are VSTi’s from TWEAKBENCH. TWEAKBENCH offers the VSTi’s that are contained in this bundle for free on their site, http://www.tweakbench.com, and they also do VST effects.

For those who need a quick 8-bit video game sound, the Triforce VSTi or Peach VSTi would be great. There’s also a mellotron style synth called Tapeworm, a bass synth called Ritual and more. One VSTi that I thought was particularly nifty was the Field VSTi, which comes with 10 different sound ambiances that you could plug directly into your track that you can mix and match, all at good quality.

Head on out to our Production Vault and get the VSTi today!

MsP Production Vault: Urban Warfare Kit

Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010

It’s PVW [Production Vault Wednesday]! =]

This kit packs 700+ samples, and a good thing about this kit is that it includes more than just drums. There’s some saxophone samples, guitar samples, organ samples, horns and more.  If you can’t get your hands on VSTi’s, the instrument samples can be useful in a pinch.

MsP Production Vault: West Coast Hip-Hop Kits

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

Here we are with another Production Vault Wednesday. =]

A few weeks back we were in New York, and now we fly over to LA and hit you with these kits. Again, I feel that these drums can be used for a variety of applications, but they were categorized as west coast by the originator.

On the second kit that’s on here, there’s an instrument folder that definitely has a west coast feel to them. The bass sounds as well as the wah-wah’d guitars and other sounds should give you that g-funk sound you need for that west coast bounce, similar to that mid 90’s Dr. Dre sound.

This bundle weighs in at a little less than 500 samples, so it should keep you busy for a while.

MsP Production Vault: East Coast Hip-Hop Kits

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

Producers are lining up waiting… =D

Another decent sized kit, weighing in at over 500 samples. This one’s focused more on a East Coast sound. Even though I feel these can be used for any type of hip-hop if used properly, whoever classified these initially felt it best for East Coast sounds so we’ll go with that. These drums have a nice feel to them with a hint of aggression.

There are two different sets that are focused on “East Coast” on here. The first kit is the bigger kit, with separate folders for kicks, snares, hats, claps, percussion, and cymbals. The second kit is smaller, but also includes some toned instrument sounds and effects.

MsP Production Vault: Lo-Fi Drums, Distorted Guitar and Bass Samples!

Wednesday, May 19th, 2010

Ready for more samples?  It’s Wednesday, so check out what I’ve got for you today. =]

This week, we have some lo-fi drums.  These are perfect for classic hip-hop production.  If you’re a fan of Timbaland’s production, then you’ve noticed how his drums are not exactly that clean.  These drums are filtered similarly, so they have that feel to them.   In addition, there are distorted guitar and bass samples in here.  All in all, we’re looking at almost 200 samples for you to mess around with.
