Fifth track off of Roll Call ‘10! Less’s contribution, “Back Off,” featuring FoRcE oNe, GNP’s Takewun, and MooN ShynE. This one just goes in on all the haters out there to let them know who really owns this.
Vincent, Timmy Titus and I recorded this track for our good friends at the United Five clothing line (http://www.united-five.com). It’s now the official theme for United Five.
If you like what you hear, make sure you like this blog entry, and also make sure you are a fan (or nowadays make sure you “like”) this song which is also on the MooN ShynE Facebook Fan Page which you can be a fan of as well. Of course, while you’re at it, make sure you guys like the Vincent Facebook Fan Page and the Timmy Titus Facebook Fan Page to show your support!
Here’s Vincent, D-Ran a.k.a. Timmy Tidus, and I performing at the Coffee Cave in Newark, New Jersey this past Saturday (July 24, 2010). It was a Black Flag Shoppe event called “NJ HAS IT.” Vincent had a 15 minute set, and in the middle we did this cut. It’s the United Five theme for the clothing label, who also gave me the Biggie Babe t-shirt that I’m rockin in this vid. You can check their stuff out at http://www.united-five.com.
Also, for the latest trends in hip-hop wear from current and up and coming brands, make sure you check out http://blackflagshoppe.blogspot.com/ to check out the Black Flag Shoppe’s official site. You can also visit their store at 244 Lakeview Ave in Clifton, New Jersey.
If you’re in the Newark, New Jersey area, hit up the Coffee Cave tomorrow (July 24, 2010) at 7PM. Vincent will be performing a 15 minute set to open, and I’ll be performing the United Five (clothing label) theme song with GNP members Vincent, Boy Gnyus as well as our homie D-Ran. It’s been a while since we’ve had a 5Fam crossover, and we’ll have a mini-crossover performance tomorrow.

Today marks the opening of the MsP Production Vault. If you are a producer, especially a hip-hop/rap one, you spend a decent amount of time looking for new samples and sounds just to keep the fire going. I know I’ve spent lots of time doing this, and I know others who spend hours looking for new torrents and downloads for their production.
To help you aspiring (and already established) producers out there with your search, every week I’ll be posting up new sample sets to add on to your music!
This week, we start with a drum kit that has the folder name “Complete Urban Flava.” These were passed on to me by my cousin Boy Gnyus of Gnyus Productions. It has over 300 different drum sounds, and it should be enough to keep you occupied until I drop another next week. Head on to the vault to download it for free today!
