Thanks a lot for the fix. I remember having to set up my recording computer with XP all these years, which sucks, because it is no longer supported and does not get updates anymore. Compatibility mode would not work, etc. IE8, and IE in general simply sucks. I wish I could obliterate it from the planet.

I only needed to make a single new entry to get PT7.4 working on Windows 7 64bit SP1:

Open Notepad and Copy the following and save the file as PTFix.reg then run it:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings]

“AllowCookies”=dword:00000001

yo, what are the steps i take? i clicked the link and it ask to choose a program or choose on online. o click on pro tools and did my thing with it and the error still came up?
